About the Committee

D. Y. Patil Agriculture and Technical University (DYPUT), Talsande, has formed the Commemorative Days Committee to coordinate the observance of important national, international, and institutional occasions throughout the academic year. The committee plays a key role in strengthening the cultural and educational environment of the university by highlighting events and personalities that have contributed significantly to society and the nation.

Through activities such as guest lectures, awareness programs, cultural events, and student competitions, the committee encourages students and staff to engage with the values and lessons associated with these important occasions. These initiatives help create an atmosphere of respect, learning, and collective participation within the campus community.

Functions of the Committee

Procedure of Functioning

  • The committee prepares an annual plan for observing important commemorative days during the academic year.

  • Students and staff can contact the committee members or the committee coordinator to suggest activities or raise queries related to commemorative events.
