About the Committee
D. Y. Patil Agriculture & Technical University (DYPUT), Talsande, is committed to the overall development of students through academic as well as extra-curricular activities.
To encourage participation in cultural, technical, sports, social, and literary activities, the University has constituted the Extra-Curricular Club Committee.
The committee supervises the formation and functioning of student clubs and ensures proper implementation of extra-curricular activities across the University campus.
The committee works under the guidance of the University administration and ensures that all activities are conducted in a disciplined and organized manner for the holistic development of students.

To create a vibrant campus environment that promotes creativity, leadership, teamwork, and personality development through extra-curricular activities.
Mission

Functions of the Committee
The Extra-Curricular Club Committee performs the following functions:
- Planning extra-curricular activities for the academic year.
- Formation and approval of student clubs.
- Monitoring the activities of all clubs.
- Organizing cultural, sports, technical, and social events.
- Coordinating with departments for student activities.
- Providing guidance to club coordinators.
- Reviewing progress of student clubs.
- Maintaining records of activities conducted.
- Planning inauguration and annual events of clubs.
Duties & Responsibilities
The Committee and its members are responsible for:
- Ensuring smooth functioning of extra-curricular clubs.
- Encouraging student participation.
- Maintaining discipline during activities.
- Approving club proposals.
- Assigning roles and responsibilities.
- Monitoring use of university facilities.
- Preparing annual activity plan.
- Reporting activities to University authority.
Procedure of Functioning
The committee shall meet at least once in every semester.
Student clubs must take prior approval before conducting any activity.
All activities shall be conducted under faculty supervision.
Club coordinators must submit activity report after every event.
Committee will review club performance periodically.
Major events require approval of Chairperson / Registrar.
Records of all activities shall be maintained in the committee file.
