About The Committee

The Student Grievance Redressal Cell is established to address complaints and grievances of students relating to academic matters, evaluation, facilities, discipline, harassment issues, or any decision affecting student welfare.

The Cell functions as a student support mechanism, ensuring that grievances are resolved in a fair, transparent, and student-friendly manner.

Functions of the Committee

  • To receive grievances relating to admissions, examinations, attendance, fees, hostel, academic delivery, and campus facilities.
  • To examine complaints through hearings and factual verification.
  • To recommend remedial measures to concerned departments.
  • To create awareness among students regarding grievance procedures.
  • To maintain proper grievance records and review trends.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Protect the confidentiality and dignity of students.
  • Ensure unbiased inquiry and fair opportunity to be heard.
  • Recommend corrective and preventive measures.

Members

  • Facilitate student interaction and counseling during grievance handling.
  • Coordinate with departments for factual reports.
  • Ensure implementation of Committee decisions.

Procedure of Functioning

  • Student shall submit a grievance application in the prescribed format or online mode through the link:

  • Preliminary scrutiny and registration of complaint.
  • Interaction/hearing with the student and the concerned department.
  • Decision taken within a reasonable time and communicated formally.
  • Follow-up action and record maintenance for institutional review.
