About the Committee

The University Grievance Redressal Cell is a statutory mechanism constituted to address and resolve grievances of employees and stakeholders arising out of administrative, service-related, or institutional decisions of the university.

The cell ensures that employees are provided with an impartial platform for representation and fair consideration of their complaints within a defined time framework.

Vision

To promote a transparent, just, and accountable administrative system that safeguards the rights, dignity, and service interests of university employees.

Mission

  • To provide a structured institutional forum for redressal of service and administrative grievances.
  • To ensure fair hearing and reasoned decisions in grievance matters.
  • To strengthen administrative efficiency and organizational harmony.
  • To resolve grievances within a time-bound and systematic framework.

Functions of the Committee

  • To receive and examine grievances related to service conditions, administrative orders, workplace issues, and institutional decisions.
  • To conduct hearings and facilitate amicable settlement wherever possible.
  • To recommend corrective measures to university authorities.
  • To monitor the implementation of decisions taken on grievance cases.
  • To maintain institutional records of grievance cases for policy review.

Duties & Responsibilities

Committee

  • Ensure procedural fairness and confidentiality.
  • Provide a reasonable opportunity to all concerned parties.
  • Dispose of cases within stipulated time limits.

Members

  • Chairperson shall regulate meetings and decision-making.
  • Member Secretary shall coordinate communication, documentation, and compliance follow-up.
  • Members shall objectively evaluate facts and contribute to collective decisions.

Procedure of Functioning

  • Aggrieved employee shall submit a written representation within the prescribed time through
    the link: https://dyp-atu.edu.in/university-grievance/ or https://me.dypgroup.edu.in/login.htm
  • Scrutiny and registration of grievance by the office of the Member Secretary.
  • Notice of hearing issued to concerned parties.
  • Personal hearing/document verification.
  • Decision communicated in writing and compliance monitored.
  • Provision for further appeal/arbitration as per university rules.
