BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Varsha P. Desai is the very active dynamic academician and researcher. She is presently
working as an Assistant Professor at Computer Application Department, School of Engineering
and Technology, D Y Patil Agriculture and Technical University, Talsande, Kolhapur,
Maharashtra, India. She is Gold Medallist in the Master of Computer Applications. She has
obtained doctoral degree from Shivaji University in the field of Computer Science. Her passion
is teaching and research, having 16+ years of experience. Over 45+ research papers have been
published in national and international journals under the auspices of the Web of Science,
Springer, Scopus, UGC and published books on R Data Analytics, Cloud Computing and
Management Information System for Agriculture Development Practical Approach. She is
reviewer of reputed journals and editor of International book publisher. She is a member of the
FOSSEE Club at IIT Bombay. She has been received prestigious academic excellence and
research awards. Three Copyrights and International patents on her name. She is life member
of Indian Society of Technical Education (ISTE). She is nominated as an expert committee
member for 24th European Conference on e-Learning (ECEL), Technical University of
Denmark (DTU), Denmark. She is currently guiding 4 PhD scholars. Among her research
interests are data analytics, artificial intelligence, data mining, machine Learning, cyber
security, e-learning, and enterprise resource planning, cloud computing, environmental and
agriculture development etc.
