Dr. Rohini Vilas Mohite has developed a strong academic and research profile in the field of Human Resource Management. She completed her B.E. in Electronics from D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasba Bawada, Kolhapur, which gave her a solid technical base. She later pursued her MBA in HR & Environment at CSIBER, Kolhapur, where she was awarded the prestigious Dr. A. D. Shinde Scholarship for two years in recognition of her academic merit and overall performance.

She has successfully completed her Ph.D. in Human Resource Management from DYP-ATU, Talsande, focusing on employee retention and related HR practices. Her research work highlights current issues faced by industries and provides meaningful insights for improving employee satisfaction and reducing turnover.

Rohini has contributed to several national and international academic platforms. Her paper titled “Recent Trends in Employee Retention: A Sectoral Review of the Indian Industry” was presented at the International Conference on Transforming the Future: Innovations in Management, Technology, Social Impact and Environmental Stewardship held on 18–19 September 2025. Another important research paper, “Impact of Employee Retention Strategies on Turnover Intentions in Selected Foundry Units of Kolhapur,” was published in the IJES Scopus Q4 Journal (August 2025). She also authored “A Critical Review on Employee Retention in the Foundry Industry,” which was published in a UGC CARE Listed Journal in October 2024 and is available on ResearchGate.
