BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Pradip Narayan Dalavi earned a Ph.D. in Irrigation Water Management Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan in 2018. He had received prestigious National Fellowship from University Grant Commission, New Delhi, during Ph.D studies. He holds M.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola, Maharashtra. He was a recipient of the prestigious Prof. Shravan Saoji Vanjari Memorial award in M.Tech. Agril. Engg. He had received a B.Tech degree in Agricultural Engineering from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra. Dr. Dalavi has more than 6.5 Years of experience in Teaching and Research activities. His teaching excellence was recognized with the Best Teacher Award in 2019. In 2020, he won the best poster presentation award at the International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence-Based Future Technologies in Agriculture. He is a life member of the Indian Society of Dryland Agriculture, Hyderabad, and an Associate member of The Institution of Engineers (India). He is also a life member of the Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers (ISAE), New Delhi. Dr. Dalavi has a notable publication record, with 15 research papers published in reputed international and national journals and 02 papers presented at international conferences. As an organizer, Dr. Dalavi has successfully conducted 10 workshops and training programs. He has actively participated in various conferences, attending 02 international conferences and 05 national conferences/seminars. In addition to his academic publications, Dr. Dalavi has written 02 popular articles, 01 book and 01 book chapter with an international publisher. Dr. Dalavi holds 01 published patent to his credit. As a mentor, Dr. Dalavi has guided three Master’s students in their research endeavours. He has also enhanced his expertise by completing the NPTEL Online Certification Course on Soil and Water Conservation Engineering. He is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Engineering at the School of Engineering & Technology, D. Y. Patil Agriculture & Technical University, Talsande, a position he has held since 2023.
