I am Dr. Amit Subhash Shelake, a mechanical engineering academic and administrator with more than 13 years of experience in teaching, academic leadership, and quality assurance. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune, and an M.E. in Mechanical Design Engineering from T.K.I.E.T., Warananagar. I currently serve as Assistant Professor at D Y Patil Agriculture & technical University, Talasande. Previously, I served as Principal at Dr. A. D. Shinde Institute of Technology and Vidyavardhini Institute of Technology, where I led institutional efforts in academic development and accreditation.

My research interests include renewable energy, solar desalination, advanced manufacturing, and mechanical design. I have published research papers and conference proceedings on topics including solar stills, laser welding, and manufacturing processes. I also serve as a Director of the Forum of Researchers Graduate and Engineers (FORGE) and as a member of the Board of Studies at Sanjeevan Group of Institutions. I received the ISTE Best Faculty Chapter (Polytechnic) Award in 2021, and bring experience in faculty development, accreditation, and academic administration.
