Objectives of visit were
- Foundry Practices & Molding Techniques (Sand molding, core making, and pattern design)
- Melting & Pouring Operations (Induction/Arc furnaces, metallurgy control, and safety protocols)
- Casting Processes & Quality Assurance (Defect analysis, non-destructive testing, and inspection standards)
- Modern Industrial Automation in Component Manufacturing and Post-Casting Finishing.
This visit was co-ordinated by faculty member Dr. Pravin Ashok Mane, supported by Dr. Abhishek Lokhande, Dr. Santosh Kulkarni, Dr. Amit Shelke, Dr. Kanhaiya Powar.
