Grievance Redressal Committee
The Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) at D. Y. Patil Agriculture and Technical University, Talsande, Kolhapur, is established to provide a fair, transparent, confidential, and time-bound mechanism for resolving grievances of students, faculty, and staff. The committee addresses issues related to academics, examinations, fees, scholarships, service matters, workplace concerns, administrative delays, discrimination, harassment, and campus facilities.
Grievances may be submitted through the university’s grievance portal provided on the website of DYP-ATU (Home Page > About > Committee > GRC). The GRC examines each complaint impartially, conducts hearings where required, and ensures resolution within the prescribed timeframe in accordance with UGC guidelines and university policies/statutes. The committee aims to maintain a safe, supportive, and harmonious academic and work environment for all stakeholders.
GRC for Students
DYP-ATU has constituted a Students Grievance Redressal Committee (SGRC) as per UGC (Redressal of Grievances of Students) Regulations 2023 to ensure fair, transparent, and timely resolution of student complaints. It addresses issues related to academics, examinations, fees, scholarships, hostel/mess facilities, discrimination, administrative delays, and other service-related matters. Students can submit grievances via the university grievance portal, email, or written application. The committee reviews and resolves complaints within a defined time frame while ensuring confidentiality and natural justice. Details of SGRC are as follows:

GRC for Faculty and Staff
DYP-ATU has also constituted a Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) for Faculty/Staff as per Statutes of D. Y. Patil Agriculture and Technical University, Talsande, Kolhapur. The Faculty/Staff Grievance Redressal Committee handles grievances related to service matters, workload, promotion, appraisal, workplace behaviour, leaves, salary issues, harassment, and administrative concerns. It provides an institutional mechanism for employees to express concerns and seek resolution in a fair, impartial, and confidential manner. Complaints can be submitted to UGRC, which examines the issue and provides decisions or recommendations to the competent authority. Details of GRC are as follows:
