About the Committee / Body
The Fee Fixation Committee is a statutory committee constituted for the purpose of fixing and regulating the fee structure of the University. The Committee operates in accordance with the provisions of the Act and notifications issued by the State Government from time to time.
The Committee ensures that the fee structure is fair, transparent, reasonable, and compliant with applicable laws and government directions, while safeguarding the interests of students and the institution.

Functions of the Committee
The Fee Fixation Committee performs the following key functions:
- Fixes and regulates the fee structure of the University
- Ensures compliance with State Government policies and statutory norms related to fees
- Examines proposals related to revision or determination of fees, as applicable
- Acts as the competent authority for fee fixation under the Act
Duties & Responsibilities
The Fee Fixation Committee shall:
- Determine and approve the fee structure of the University in accordance with law
- Follow the mechanism and procedure prescribed by the State Government
- Ensure that the fee structure is non-exploitative and transparent
- Maintain records and documentation related to fee fixation decisions
- Function independently and impartially, within the framework of the Act
- Discharge such other responsibilities as may be specified in Government notifications
Allowances and Honorarium
- The allowances and honorarium payable to the Chairperson and members of the Committee shall be as specified by the State Government, and shall be paid by the University.
Procedure of Functioning
Meetings & Process
- The procedure, meeting frequency, decision-making process, and quorum, if any, shall be as prescribed by the State Government notification.
Communication & Secretariat
- The University shall provide administrative and logistical support to the Committee as required.
- Decisions of the Committee shall be formally communicated to the University for implementation.
