Mr. Santosh Kulkarni is a dedicated academician, researcher, and industry professional with a strong blend of technical and management expertise. He possesses over 11 years of rich teaching experience and 3.5 years of hands-on industrial experience in the field of Production and Planning Engineering. His industry exposure at S. B. Reshellers Ltd., Kolhapur has provided him with in-depth practical knowledge of manufacturing operations, production planning, quality control, and shop-floor management, which he effectively integrates into classroom teaching.

He began his academic journey with a Diploma in Automobile Engineering from KHK College of Engineering, Dharwad, Karnataka (2009). He further pursued his Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Production Engineering from North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon (2011). To strengthen his technical specialization, he completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Mechanical Production Engineering from KIT’s College of Engineering, Kolhapur (2015). With a vision to integrate engineering with management principles, he also earned an MBA in Marketing Management from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University (YCMOU), Nashik (2020). Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Lean Management from D. Y. Patil Agriculture & Technical University (DYPATU), focusing on operational excellence, waste reduction, and process optimization.

In his academic career, Mr. Kulkarni has taught a wide spectrum of subjects including Production Management, Operations Management, Marketing Management, Retail Management, and Supply Chain & Logistics Management. His teaching methodology emphasizes industry relevance, case-based learning, experiential teaching, and skill development, ensuring students are well-prepared for real-world challenges. He has successfully guided and mentored more than 250 postgraduate students, contributing significantly to their academic growth and professional careers.

In the area of research and publications, he has made notable contributions with 07 research papers published in reputed journals and 03 papers presented in international conferences. His research interests primarily include Lean Management, Operations Strategy, Supply Chain Optimization, Production Systems, and Service Operations. He is actively involved in academic research and continuously encourages students to participate in research, innovation, and entrepreneurship activities.
