The D. Y. Patil Group, established in 1983 by Dr. Dnyandeo Yashwantrao Patil, Padma Shri Awardee and former Governor of the States of Tripura, Bihar, and West Bengal, is a legacy built on the ideals of social commitment, service, and Nation-building. Fondly known as “Dada”, Dr. D. Y. Patil is a renowned social worker, philanthropist, and educationist of international repute whose vision continues to inspire generations.

Over the past four decades, the Group has made significant contributions in the fields of education and health care, emerging as one of the largest private education providers in Maharashtra. With more than 182 educational institutions, 03 deemed to be universities, 05 state private universities offering programmes across diverse disciplines, the Group remains steadfast in its mission to nurture knowledge, innovation, and ethical values.
