Prof. (Dr.) Sangram Tukaram Patil is a distinguished academic leader, technologist, and researcher with over 32 years of impactful experience in higher education and software development. He currently serves as the Director (Academics) at D Y Patil Agricultural & Technical University, Talsande, where he previously held the position of Controller of Examinations and Dean – School of Engineering & Technology.

With a strong academic foundation—including a Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering, an M.Tech in Computer Science & Technology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering—Dr. Patil has built a versatile career that bridges academia, administration, industrial consultancy, and technical innovation.

He has significantly contributed to curriculum development aligned with NEP 2020, institutional growth, and academic governance. His teaching and administrative expertise span universities such as Sanjay Ghodawat University, Shivaji University (Department of Technology), D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, and premier training centers such as CDAC-ATC, where he served as Head of Academics and Team Leader.

A celebrated educator, Dr. Patil has been honored with awards including the Shri Mahatma Gandhi Rashtriya Abhiman Puraskar 2023 and recognition among the Leading Professors & Academicians 2023.

He is also an accomplished author of five technical books on programming and artificial intelligence and has published numerous research papers across national and international journals and conferences.
