The School of Engineering & Technology is a constituent school under the umbrella of DYP-ATU, which focuses on cutting-edge technologies in the field of Agricultural Engineering.
Department of Agricultural Engineering is one of the major departments under School of Engineering & Technology, D Y Patil Agriculture & Technical University, Talsande established in year 2021. It offers full time 4 year degree programme for Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Engineering. The department is well versed with sophisticated instruments, equipments, classrooms, seminar halls and hands-on practical training laboratories to develop the youth technically sound in field of Agricultural Engineering. Department covers the courses related with Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Processing and Food Engineering, Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, Soil and Water Conservation Engineering & Renewable Energy Engineering. Department also focus on extensive researches on development of innovative techniques. Department took special efforts to generate graduate who serves job in public and private sector as well as setting up small-scale entrepreneurship.

Higher Education after B.Tech Agricultural Engineering
After the completion of B.Tech holders in Agricultural Engineering, candidates can pursue M.Tech from top colleges in India and abroad. B.Tech Agricultural Engineering candidates can appear in GATE examination for M.Tech course offered at top institutes in India. I. Must be passed in 10+2 examination with Physics/Chemistry/Biology/Mathematics from a recognized Board
