BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Babasaheb S. Gholap holds Under Graduate degree in B. Tech. (Agricultural Engineering) from Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri, Maharashtra; Master of Engineering and Doctor of Philosophy in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering from Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He has qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in Farm Machinery and Power. Formerly he worked as a Research Associate in Farm Machinery Testing Centre at Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology, Udaipur, Rajasthan and Central Institute of Agricultural Engineering (CIAE), Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. He also worked as Assistant Professor at Dr. Ulhas Patil College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Jalgaon. His areas of interest are Testing of Farm Implement and Machineries, Agricultural Mechanization and Agricultural Sprayers. He has total work experience of more than 12 years. He has published 21 research papers in national and international journals, 7 conference papers, 11 technical abstracts, 3 popular articles, 5 extension bulletins, 2 book chapters, 3 books and 4 lecture notes and practical manuals. He is member of professional societies such as ISAE and IEI. He has received Young Scientist Award at the International Conference held at Jammu Kashmir. He has joined as Assistant Professor of Agricultural Engineering, School of Engineering & Technology, D Y Patil Agriculture & Technical University, Talsande in October, 2024.
